2022 AF LEGEND_

“About four miles northeast of Alcova WY is BLM’s Pete’s Draw Campground on the North Platte River. It’s dry camping, but I could stay the entire 14 day limit in my 32-5M”

~Mike Zander

“My wife & I have a 2016 29-5T that we use to travel all over North America, due to it’s ‘four-season construction’. We have over 85,000+ miles on the trailer in four years (non-full timers)….. We’re on our 3rd set of tires!!!

We’ve found that the quality construction of the trailer, allows us to take it almost anywhere, without concerns of breaking down or repairs.

With the fireplace, bedroom 2nd air conditioner and larger water heater, we can camp in any weather. With the large fresh & waste tanks, we can ‘boondock’ 7+ days without hook-ups.

We love our quality AF trailer!”

~Clegg

“27-5L at Steamboat Rock State park in WA. We love our trailer, and Arctic Fox. Started with a new 2004 990 camper years back, only sold it to buy this.”

~Jason Nordstrom

“We are 4 year full-timing mid 50s couple (Wingingitfulltime on Facebook).”

“This is actually our 3rd Northwood unit. Our last 5th wheel was a 2016 35-5z. We wanted to downsize some as the 40′ was too big for 2 people. We are native Oregonians from Salem OR and started full time RVing approximately 4 years ago. We are on Youtube and Instagram with 30K subscribers. Presently just outside of Jackson Hole, WY on a 4 month road trip before winding up in Lake Havasu AZ where is home-base for the winter.”

~Jeff

“Camping off the grid in our Arctic Fox 25R in the summer forest above Crested Butte Colorado. It’s a home away from home.”

~Dan Kay Rider

“We just finished a 40-day 6,500 mile road trip in our 2016 27-5L. We had a wonderful time visiting 11 states, 10 National Parks and 5 National Monuments. The 27-5L performed flawlessly and was very comfortable regardless of the weather. We experienced overnight lows in lower 20’s, 7″ of snow on the Grand Canyon north rim and afternoon highs in the upper 90’s. Can’t say enough good things about our 27-5L!”

~Dave

“Here’s a pic of our new 35-5Z near the Liard River in northern British Columbia. We took delivery in Montana last week and we’re making our way home to Alaska on the ALCAN. We love our new Arctic Fox!”

~Jeff Kinsman

“We drove our 2016 Arctic Fox cross country for the 5th time, between California and Florida in the winter weather. We encountered rain, snow, heat and 13 degree temperatures – 65,000+ miles and still going strong!”
“The night photo is camping at Walt Disney World.”

~Dave & Donna

“My wife and I retired in 2015 and decided to be full time RVers. So we purchased a new 2015 Arctic Fox 32-5M which has served us well. We have lived in it full time and traveled over 40,000 miles mostly in the western states. Then we got the urge to visit Alaska in a smaller RV. So we purchased a new 2017 Arctic 865 truck camper. So we parked the fifth wheel in southern Arizona and took off on a 5 month 12000 mile adventure to Alaska. We are back in our fifth wheel home now and just wanted to let you know that neither RV has ever been to a shop for repairs. We are happy campers. Here are a few photos you may like of our foxes.”

En-route overnight stop at Brookhallow RV Park in Kelso WA…and treated to a beautiful cloud formation at sunset.

“I’m from Georgia so why would I need a 4 season travel trailer? Because of the reputation of the quality first and foremost, but I bought it with the intention spending a year in it traveling Wyoming and Montana when I retire next year.

This picture is what we woke up to on our annual trip to Road To The Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground in Lexington, KY with the Rolex Stadium just behind us. This was March 2018 – total of about 3 inches that day. We stayed very comfy during our stay! The campers across from us purchased electric heated blankets to help keep them warm.

I researched a replacement for my 2004 Casita Spirt Deluxe for about a year and the Northwood products were always getting high marks – Without seeing any of them first hand, I initially was looking at the Nash 22H, until I traveled from middle Georgia to the Longmont Colorado dealer and walked into the AF 22G! I changed my mind that day and ordered it!”

~Sherri Sharpe

“We had a great time leaving snowy Oregon and headed to Borrego Springs, CA. One of our stops was Joshua Tree NP.
Our 2017 27-5L performed perfectly. Spent 16 nights and only hooked to shore power 4 nights. Thanks NW for a great fiver.”

~Pete

“Over the past week, several Northwood owners met in the desert just north of Quartzsite, Arizona.

With large water / waste tanks, 4-season warmth and Arctic Fox quality, we all had a great time with our Northwood trailers!”

Dave & Donna,

“We are back to the Oregon coast where we were six years ago, at the beginning of our full time journey. We are just as happy with our Arctic Fox 29V now as we were then!

The sunsets on the coast and here at Winchester Bay RV Park are extraordinary!”

“Thanks to the whole crew at Northwood!”

~Arleen & Shawn Prochazka

“We picked up our fifth-wheel the week of the owners rally, and got in on the factory tour as well. It was fun to have the newest rig at the rally. We love our Arctic Fox! Everyone at Northwood was helpful and friendly. And we couldn’t be happier with our rig.”
“Thanks for making a great product!”

~Tim and Judi Berkley

“We took our 2013 27.5 5th wheel out for the first time this year to the Deschutes River State Park this last weekend. Next weekend we will be towing it to Seattle for a few days then on to Canada. We sure love our 5th wheel and have many more trips planned for this summer and fall. We think Northwood makes the best trailers, as this is our second new trailer we’ve purchased. Our first was a 2001 22ft GQ.”

~Randy and Patty White

“Our maiden trip with our 2016 32A in the blue mountains outside of La Grande
Oregon. Absolutely love it.”

-Jeff Nichols

“We are on a 11 week Canada / Alaska excursion with our 2016 Arctic Fox 29-5T. Cold, heat, rain, Yukon roads, dust, our Arctic Fox has handled it all with flying colors!”

Dave & Donna,

“A short note to say that the Arctic Fox 25W is everything I wanted and needed with quite a bit extra on top. Thanks for a solid coach, I’m looking forward to traveling the country exploring and making new adventures.”

-Dan Young

“We had a great Memorial weekend in our 25W. We love our home on wheels. ”

-David & Tammi Hotchkiss

“We have set up for the winter in Heber City, Utah. We have been living in our 29V for five and half years now. This will be our third “real” winter. With proper preparation, our Arctic Fox keeps us warm and comfortable all winter long. We have already weathered a few nights this winter below zero and have not had any problems.”

-Arleen & Shawn Prochazka

“Here is photo from our recent trip to Colorado. It was really hard to leave the mountain views at South Mineral Campground near Silverton. We really enjoy our 25Y, thank you for building quality RV’s.”

-James and Kimberly Heap

“After picking up our new Arctic Fox 27 5-L we headed North. This was the camping at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Center in Canada in Jasper National Park. This unit was all we expected it to be. Two months from the day we picked it up and 6,900 miles later we retuned home. Cant wait to leave again! Thank you Northwood!!!”

-Kathy Sweet

“On the way to West Yellowstone in our 2015 27-5L. Stopped at Earthquake Lake to see the Visitor’s Center. Recommend anyone coming through here to stop and learn of this cataclysmic event…amazing. Also, highly recommend Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park, near Whitehall, MT. Camp there and visit the caverns. A not-to-miss! The Fox is taking us in style and luxurious comfort!”

-Thomas Cox

“Here we are “boondocking” near Susanville, CA in our 2012 Arctic Fox 25Y.
We’re all solar’d up and have golf cart batteries and an inverter installed. Our Arctic Fox has made out-back camping almost luxurious.”

“Our longest adventure so far was a six week tour of several western National Parks. We never felt cramped or uncomfortable. It’s a great trailer. We LOVE it!”

-Tom & Galeyn Molnar,

Carson City, NV

“Our favorite picture of our new Arctic Fox Trailer as we brought her home from Idaho Falls across I-70 in Utah (rest stop) to her new home in Huntsville Alabama. We love our new truck and trailer. They look like they were paired to go together. We’ve had the trailer out a few times since then but the locations/weather have not provided such a dramatic backdrop as this one..” -Karen and Dan Kohlhaas

“We had a perfect 10 day maiden voyage boondocking with our new 2016 29-5K down in Ely, NV riding atv’s with our friends who have an Artic Fox 25P. It was so nice to know we made the right decision to purchase our Artic Fox. We couldn’t be happier.” -Jeanann Ankrum

“We do a lot of off-road, dry camping and Northwood is by far the best quality we have seen. Our first trailer was a 17ft Fox Creek, our second was the Snow River 254LSS, but our new Arctic Fox 25W is the absolute best! Nothing else comes close to the quality and comfort of this trailer!”

~Allie & Ryan Sederlin,
Springfield OR

“We’ve been owners of Arctic Fox trailers since 2007. We moved from a pickup camper to the 29-5T in 2007 to allow for extended travel. At that time we were living in CA and traveling to Wyoming during the summers. In 2012, we relocated to Lander WY and built a home. During the construction the 29-5T was our home. We loved the fifth-wheel (and the excellent customer service offered by Northwood) but found the size to be limiting as far as accessing some of the back-road areas of Wyoming. This last Spring we decided to downsize. Obviously, living in Wyoming a four season Coach was a must. We limited our search for a new trailer to Arctic Fox because of our experience with the 29-5T and Northwood. We looked at several floor plans and found the 25P to be the perfect match. My wife and I love to travel and the family Labrador is always included in our trips. The 25P accommodates the three of us very comfortably. Everyone said that we’d miss the space of the 29-T. I actually find extended travel in the 25P more comfortable than the fifth-wheel and found the cabinet and outside storage to be more than adequate. The same can be said for the freshwater and holding tank capacity of the 25P!”
“This past season we spent over 60 nights in the 25P and traveled over 7,000 miles through Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon and California. After quickly eliminating the few bugs that always come with a new trailer, the 25P has proven itself to be problem free and pleasure to own and tow. We’ll be heading out again in January to the southwest and are looking forward to more time in the trailer.”

~Mac and Diane Price

“This was on our 8500 mile trip to the Yukon and Alaska with our 2012 22GQ Arctic Fox trailer. We covered a lot of rough roads including well over 200 miles of gravel roads. The trailer performed flawlessly and we are very pleased with the quality Northwood puts into its products. This is the 6th trailer we have owned over a 40 year span and by far the best built. If and when there is another trailer in our future it will be a Northwood product!”

~Glen & Linda Johnson

“We bought our first Arctic Fox in Anchorage Alaska, a 2002 27Y travel trailer, we had that until 2014. During that time we camped all over Alaska until 2005 and then moved down to Charleston South Carolina. During that time we didn’t have a single problem so when it came time for a upgrade there was only one decision, what model Arctic Fox are we going to get. Living in South Carolina made it a bit more difficult, but not impossible, I got hold of Kelly RV sales in PA and they got our new 32-5M fifth wheel ordered and we picked it up in October 2014. With retirement just around the corner we plan on getting a lot of use from this Arctic Fox as well. This picture is from our last trip to Jocassee State Park in South Carolina.” ~John and Johanne Brautigam

“We couldn’t be happier with our Arctic Fox 27-5L 5th wheel. We chose Arctic Fox after extensive research, and have not been disappointed. We are amazed with the comfort and quality, not to mention how great it looks!. We look forward to future adventures, many off the beaten path.  It is one of the reasons we chose the Arctic Fox – it fit the bill for our planned adventures for all seasons. Thank you Northwood!”

Kirk and Kay Jefferson

“After extensive research, we found Northwood products were superior in craftsmanship to any of the other trailers we looked at. Also, Northwood being a locally owned and operated company made the decision for us easy. Our 2016 Arctic Fox 30U was the perfect combination of floor plan, build quality and style that we were looking for. We’ve spent nearly 30 nights in it this summer including a two week 2200 mile trip through Montana, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Thanks for making such a great product!”

-Chris and Kellie Perry Bend, OR

“There is no other brand that we would put through almost 100 nights a year boon docking. We can focus on having fun and not worry about our accommodations, and no other brand will provide that kind of peace of mind. Our Fox is always there for us and ready to go.” Shawn & Sue P. (Alberta), owners of 2009 29-5E

“I have owned six 5th wheels in my lifetime, and I just purchased a used Artic Fox. This is the best coach I have ever owned. I always crawl underneath the coaches I have purchased and inspect them from stem to stern, make repairs and adjustments as needed. One can tell right away this is a quality coach and that the people who build them take a lot of pride in their work. It is nice to know there are still great manufacturers in the USA. Your people do top-notch quality work, and I just want to thank you and your people.” Gary Kruger

“Our purchase of a 2007 22H Arctic Fox has proven to be a great decision. The quality of the Arctic Fox out-performs any other new unit I’ve seen or researched.” Bretan

“I liked Northwood products so much I started Northwood RV Owners Association(NROA)!” Adam Sherman

“In 2009 we towed our 29V over 3000 miles of the northernmost roads in North America –all unpaved primitive roads– in addition to the usual Alaska Highway stuff. The trailer experienced only trivial problems even though the trip killed our Chevy 2500HD Duramax/Allison.” Steve & C. J. Rankin
